1965

This blog is my personal stroll down memory lane.  Since my memory is starting to fade (I know I'm only 46 but seriously, when I can't remember what these are called---( )---it can't be good)....and honestly, my kids could use the company on these trips!  So follow along, share if you remember, or if I have forgotten!!





I was born November, 1965, right in the middle of the Vietnam War.  I lived in Traverse City, Michigan.  A nice quite town.  Of course I don't remember much from 1965 to 1970 but each of those years gave birth to a lot of things that I love.  I'll start with 1965.

This was the year that Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead were formed.  The Beatles had a couple of number one hits like "Ticket to Ride" and "Help".

"I Dream of Jeannie", "Wild, Wild West" and "Lost in Space" (danger Will Robinson) premiered in 1965 as well as one of my favorite game shows "The Dating Game"

And this is the year of one of my favorite movies, "The Sound of Music".
